Frequently Asked Questions
We evaluate each wheel individually, but in most cases, we can repair aluminum alloy wheels for both cars and trucks.
Our experienced technicians arrive in custom-built enclosed trailers fully equipped with professional tools to repair and refinish damaged wheels. Using precision polishing techniques and high-quality PPG automotive paints, we restore your wheels to their original smooth finish and appearance.
When our technician arrives, they’ll remove the wheels from your vehicle and complete all repairs inside our custom-built enclosed trailer.
If your wheels don’t have tires, or if you plan to replace the tires, we may ask that you handle tire installation or replacement before we begin repairs.
Most repairs are completed within 1–2 hours per wheel, depending on the extent of the damage. Color changes and corrosion repair on all four wheels typically takes 3.5-4 hours.
We can typically repair curb rash, tire machine damage, scrapes, gouges, minor bends, and cosmetic damage. Severe structural damage may not be repairable, but we’ll always inspect and advise before starting any work.
Yes. Our technicians use specialized tools and high-quality PPG automotive finishes to precisely match and restore painted and polished wheels.
Please note that we do not repair chrome wheels.
Yes. We use professional-grade materials and processes that restore both the appearance and durability of the factory finish. In harsh Michigan conditions, our painted application outlasts factory clear coat finishes.
In some cases, such as when a wheel has been bent, balancing or road-force testing may be necessary. However, for cosmetic repairs like curb rash removal or refinishing, rebalancing is not required.
Yes — our fully equipped mobile trailers allow us to perform professional repairs at your location, whether at home, work, a dealership, or collision center.
Please note we will need access to plug into a standard electrical outlet.
Not necessarily. As long as we have access to the vehicle, a standard electrical outlet, and lug nut key (if equipped with anti-theft lug nut lockers), our technician can complete the repair and notify you once it’s finished. In some circumstances we may ask for access to the vehicle's keys.
You can call or text us directly. We’ll confirm availability and provide an estimated timeframe for service.
In some cases we can straighten and weld a cracked wheel. During inspection, we’ll let you know if your wheel qualifies for repair or if replacement is the safer option.
We service Michigan areas surrounding Grand Rapids, Battle Creek, Lansing, Jackson, and Flint. Please contact us to confirm if we can travel to your location.
